Lchap is a small mountainous village in the Gegharkunik region in Armenia. The winter here is quite severe and the cold reaches -15-20 C, which starts from mid-October and lasts until May. The kindergarten is the only place for the village children to go and get preschool education and participate in diverse child development activities, however, the cold interferes with its regular work. The kindergarten needs a heating system to continue its natural workflow in cold months, otherwise, the kids have to stay all day long at home having nothing to do or to learn.
The project aims to create a heating system at the kindergarten building in Lchap allowing children to visit there despite of the weather.
