Our idea
We are starting a new organization that focuses on human rights and gender equality, specifically for young Armenians aged 16-35. Our main goal is to create a safe place where young people can explore their interests and gain knowledge.
It is about education!
Our organization is not just about defending human rights; it is about educating individuals on their rights and the importance of democracy. We use a different approach to education, not like traditional schools. We use informal education through study circles, where participants themselves lead based on their interests.
Study circles played a vital role in Sweden's development a century ago, and now we want to bring that success to Armenia by empowering young people with knowledge about their rights and the importance of fighting for them.
What is happening now?
Currently, we are in the process of registering our organization. To proceed, we need around $5000 USD, which will cover registration costs and sustain our operations for a few months. Please note that none of the funds will be used to pay salaries; our team is made up of volunteers.
Every donation will be invested in the organization and its activities, no matter how small.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to our goals.
What is the plan?
Ideally we need around 50 000 USD to be able to operate the whole year. We are planning to apply for EU projects and some funds from non profit organisations. The registration part is the most important as it is must to apply for EU grants.
