Ռուբեն Թարումեան

Ruben Khachatur Hakobyan (Ruben Tarumian) (February 24, 1963, Yerevan, Armenian SSR, USSR), Armenian architect, font designer, historian, translator. Founder-chairman of the Union of Armenian Font Designers. In 2017-2018, he was a member of the Higher Council of Armenian language. Worked in the field of printing and website design. He is the author of dozens of books, logos and websites, including the first website of the President Armenia. He is the author of about 100 fonts (about 200 drawings) in Armenian, Georgian, Greek, Russian, Hebrew fonts. Was the head of the first group that Armenianized Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office programs. In 2005, he was awarded the first prize at the "Mashtots-1600" award.
