We are little group of volunteers from Yerevan who have a strong desire to help the people in need living in Vanadzor. 

The idea was born after we visited a couple of shelters and some families whose storied touched our hearts. It’s humbling seeing the conditions people live in, listening to all sort of dramas people have gone through, seeing the children enjoying simple toys with grateful eyes. Many people have no money to pay for basic stuff like electricity, gas, food, not mentioning of getting an education or any sort of enjoyments that most of us take for granted.

A woman, who has come from the war and has escaped from captivity in the war and now trying to make ends meet to feed her kids; a little 6-year Mary whose sister has passed away and her dad left her alone with mom who is unable to pay for heat and was forced to sell her gas balloon to feed her little kid. A lot, a lot of other stories that just can't leave us aloof.

We realize that we were not able to give them a lot, but we do believe little things make big difference - some financial help, small gifts, time spent with them, conversations from the heart that we had - all these little things make a big difference in the lives of these people. 

We are going to visit those shelters again in the near future and help them cover their needs. If your heart has been touched and you want to support us in this initiative, that would be very much appreciated.
