To listen to winter stories and tales are miracles of my childhood. Before I wrote my first fairy tale, I always thought that it would be wonderful for Armenia to have its winter tales too. Children have a special connection with Christmas, Christmas Tree, and snow. It becomes a lifetime memory and influences both the connection with the origins and the personality.
This story takes place in Pela, in the kingdom of fairies and elves, hidden in deep forests of Armenia. On the Night of first snow, fairies and elves come to decorate the Christmas tree with their secrets. The one who brings the most amazing secret, becomes the next king or the queen. Once the secret of the fairies of game does not open…
This book is about the magic power of friendship. Fairies and elves open secrets on the Night of first snow to learn the biggest secret- tha the friendship is more powerful than any magic. For Armenia where people need unity, I believe a childhood book about the magic power of friendship is essential. It is not different for the world, where we still have wars.
The book is illustrated by Heghnar Petrossian, an amazing illustrator and founder of GISANEH JEWELRY. We have a 12-year collaboration experience.
The book is planned to be published in Armenian first, then to be translated and introduced in book fairs to be published in other languages, for the other countries to have a Christmas book from Armenia too.
We (along with fairies and elves) will be thankful for any support given to this project, even for sharing this campagne!
Stories always gave me strength. They are born from dreams and show roads to them. In one of these moments my endless desire to give a dream to someone else is born too. That's the main reason for me writing books for children...
Thank you!
