A debt of $55,000 was taken out in my name by my husband. After that, he abandoned me and our children, leaving me alone to carry a burden I never chose.
Since then, my life has become a constant struggle. Iwork in extremely difficult and exhausting conditions, far from my children and far from my homeland. Every day I wake up hoping that I am one step closer to freedom, but the debt still stands between me and the only thing truly want—to go home.
My dream is simple. I don't dream of luxury or wealth. I dream of returning to Armenia, holding my children in my arms, and never having to leave them again.
Right now, I am working only to repay this debt. It feels impossible to overcome alone.
